Medway Working Age Group - Curry Night Report

Medway Working Age Group - Curry Night
On Thursday 26th, the group met up for a curry night at the Bollywood Buffet Restaurant in Canterbury Street, Gillingham. We had a good attendance for our little group – 16 people all told, could have done with a few more. Elizabeth was the first to arrive, shortly followed by everyone else. Rav the owner greeted everyone as they came and gave us a nice warm welcome. Once we were sitting at the table we were given Naan Bread, Poppadum’s and pickles to munch on. When everyone was sat down, Rav explained how the restaurant worked, so first we went up for starters, and as it was a buffet, you could help yourself to any amount, and could always go back for more. We were under no rush to move on to the mains, which was once again an open buffet, which you could go up to as many times as you like. Drinks were delivered to our table when requested along with extra naan breads etc when required. Conversation flowed all evening, although it was difficult to speak to people at the other end of the table. All in all it seems the general consensus was that a good night was had by all. The only down fall, was the difficulty parking, which we did anticipate, but we will see if that will stop us going again next year, as I think that would be the only thing stopping us. Thank you all for making it a good evening, and sorry that so many of you missed out on a good night. All the pictures of the evening are available on the MedWAG Facebook page.

We are part of the Parkinson's UK Charity and, in Medway, we have two active Parkinson’s UK groups.
